In 1985, having worked in various sectors of the tourism industry (hotels, DMC and tour operators), we decided to set up Cititravel, a company specialising in the areas of conferencing, incentive programmes and product launches.
Today a specially refurbished historic building in Malaga houses our head office and is at the heart of a series of offices strategically located throughout Spain.More than sixty highly qualified executives dedicate themselves every day to the design and execution of quality programmes for a client base that would be the envy of any competitor.
There is absolutely no doubt that without the help, dedication and professionalism of our collaborators and executives, it would not have been possible to maintain such outstanding levels of innovation and quality, recognised recently in M&IT with the award of Best DMC for the second consecutive year (2004 & 2005).
As an added bonus, we are the only company in this sector to offer financial security by way of a bankers bond from a prestigious international bank. In addition, we are considered by Dun & Bradstreet to be one of the best companies in Spain.
DMC Human resources are fundamental to our operations and services and we are proud of the excellent teams we have throughout our entire network of offices. In every single office we can operate a tremendous amount of simultaneous events successfully – always being run and managed by an experienced Account Director.
Each of our offices is headed by a Company Director or, in the case of our larger operations, two or three Directors, who are supported by several Account Managers, Operational Executives and administrative assistance. Each office boasts a team of multi-lingual professionals with many years experience of both operating groups and have an in-depth knowledge of their destination and suppliers.
Our Financial, IT and Human Resources departments are based in our Malaga Head Office.
